batik (from ruby)

by m. <>

so you're writing your next killer app and for smooth svg processing you choose apache batik.

but after a quick search, you notice there's no ruby way of doing it...

then the 'batik' gem comes to the rescue:

$ gem install 'batik'

finally your code looks like:

require 'batik'
Batik.rasterize 'stuff.svg', :to => :jpg, :css => 'pretty.css'

and you fell in ♥ again.

(if you're a jruby wizard, try kreynolds' ruby-batik gem)
